Mission statement
The Sensors Council Student Branch Chapter at IIT Indore was formed on May 30, 2022 with Mr. Pawan Kumar as its founding Chair.
IEEE Sensors Council promotes excellence in the field of sensors by enhancing the quality of life for humanity through its members’ contributions in translational R&D, manufacturing, and application of sensor technology, devices, and systems.
The IEEE Sensors Council Student Branch Chapter is actively involved in the technical domain by organizing technical events such as the Distinguished Lecturer Program, and Mini Colloquia and sponsoring/co-sponsoring various conferences, webinars and workshops, membership drives, opportunities to network with peers, the Resource Center, environmental awareness campaigns and promotional activities with the objective of sustainable developmental growth.
Vision statement
The members of the IEEE Sensors Council Student Branch Chapter are thriving to create an interactive platform for young professionals like academicians, scientists, technologists, and engineers to discuss explore and collaborate in the domains of semiconductors, nanoelectronics, photonics, optoelectronics, photovoltaic, biomedical, and MEMS/NEMS based sensors.
